Zanussi D/W no heat

    ZDT 6053..Pnc 911939202-02

    Element OK, pressure switch operating correctly, all wiring appears sound.

    Had a look at the PCB but it shows none of the usual signs of burnt solder joints.

    A quick look at the wiring diagram, can’t see anything else obviously in line.

    Before I order a new PCB is there anything else that I am missing.

    Had the same problem with a Zanussi last week, cant remember exact model. After doing all the same tests you have done I bit the bullet and ordered the PCB and just in case also the NTC.
    Result phew!!

    The machine belongs to a very good friend which can often be more of a problem in cases like these.

    I will have to run the cost of a PCB by them to see how it goes, I can always blame you if it goes t**s up. 😀

    Think its normally relay trouble on the P.C.B, if you’re handy with a soldering iron you could take board away & get a relay to suit.

    Always play safe with Zanussi D/W PCB’s myself.

    I have seen one or two badly fire damaged, don’t want to take that chance.

    pcb doesnt have to be burnt to stop working. did zanussi couple of weeks ago. get a very good look at relay contacts these seamed ok but were infact cracked around joint. resoldered and away she went with original relay.

    If it’s an older machine it’s worth replacing the relay as the contacts will probably be burnt. On newer machines (2/3 years) the solder joints are probably all that needs doing. Same with washing machine heater relays.
