Needed a Wash Motor for a Neff Washing Machine V5340X2GB/07 – Connect wanted £169.59 plus vat, Rang Qualtex and they had it priced at £119.20 plus vat !
Seen many posts in the past about this topic and cannot understand why Connect prices keep on going up

    Re: Connect Prices

Happens all the time, the full price from BSH is only £129.40 plus vat, plus if you are trade you will get 15{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} discount of the price even without an account, with an account your discount depends on spend, however that makes it £109.99 plus vat from the manufacturer, you would pay carriage though, always check prices with manufacturers where possible

    Re: Connect Prices

Just a quick one and for a laugh more than anything, have a look at Connect’s current price for C0020253 Hpt mains cable. 😯
And don’t forget to add the VAT. 😆 Free delivery mind you as you’ll be well over the threshold.

To quote Partfinder. “That is not a valid part number” 😀

    Is that Connects own number?

    I think Mike’s a digit short of a Partfinder part number 😉

    😳 C00202053
Mind you, it just shows how many other sellers base their prices on Connect’s. Open these in new tabs and read them in this order for a bit of a laugh.

£190..the espares one is coming up as £310 here. :eeek:

TBH even the actual list price of £14.99 ex vat is on the high side. 😀

    Re: Connect Prices

What it really shows is how heavily all those businesses rely on their computers. No human being reviewing those prices would have left them up there attracting bad publicity. In other words they have cut their staffing levels to the bare minimum. Thus when you see a price you don’t like at Connect, or any other supplier, it’s time to pick up the phone and tell them where they’re going wrong.

    Re: Connect Prices

Electrolux website lists at £515.72 + VAT (out of stock), so Connect not too far adrift.

Hmm. Think I’ll try an email. Lux have thermistor ntc 1242940102 > 3792171112 at £4.48 inc. vat.
Connect is £23.72 + vat and SRP £40.52.
    Qualtex meanwhile £18.97.
They’re obviously a bit out of touch.
Maybe someone could take these threads along to the meeting?
    Mike.
