Bosch Washing Machine WFR 2860 works normally, washes, spins fine on all cycles except the rinse or spin cycles where it will no longer spin up to a reasonable speed. Starts to spin and then just stops. Spin works fine on all other cycles. Have tried more or less in the drum but has no impact.

Most probable reason is that the internal drain pipework could well be gunged-up with years of detritus and limescale. In effect its arteries are restricted meaning that it takes too long to drain which results in the interval spin between rinses ‘timing-out’.
