    THIS IS A WHIRLPOOL DISHWASHER WHICH STARTS TO FILL ON ANY PROGRAMME FOR ABOUT 30 SECS THEN STARTS TO PUMP OUT ALL THE WATER AND STARTS BLEEPING THE START BUTTON FLASHES ALL THE TIME AND THE PROGRAMME JUMPS BACK TO THE PREWASH PROGRAMME LIGHT BUT DOES NOT FLASH JUST STAYS LIT ANYBODY GOT ANY IDEAS AS I CANT FIND ANY FAULT CODE RELATING TO WHAH I GET.HAVE CHECKED THE BASE NO LEAKS 🙁

    product code would help, but if its stopping that early i would go for the water inlet turbine having loose or corroded connections.

    IS THAT THE TANK AT THE SIDE WITH VERY SMALL PCB ON IT

    without the product code i dont know if it has one?. if it has its behind the L/hand side panel and its a small reed switch.

    I HADE SIDE PANEL OFF AND THE WATER TANK ON THE LEFT HAS A SMALL PCB ON IT

    Stop shouting I have a headache!!
    Take out the pcb and if you have a magnet run it alongside the pcb reed switch whilst putting a buzzer or meter across the two contacts, if it doesn’t give a reading (or buzz) the preed switch is goosed. Had loads do this. Also check the path back to the main pcb for poor connections. HTH

    Normally Whirlpool code is 7 flashes for faulty flow meter so if checking / replacing it doesn’t work, you could try looking at this threadhttp://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/forumsphpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=64457 and pm me if you need further info.
    The symptom is different but I have a suspicion the fault may be the same.
