got a customer – not been yet who thinks their fan element is faulty …
anyone know where to get , is there an alternative ?

Connect do some britannia spares including elements – I think your model number should be si9 not s19.

I have managed to fit the leisure/rangemaster elements before. Alot cheaper, but you will have to nut and bolt it.

looked at connect under manufacturers but brittania wasnt their maybe have a look under model

iirc its a cooker out job anyway regardless of genuine or make do, as im sure theyre screwed in from the rear…
have used long/thin neck zanussi ones. seem to match pretty well 🙂

assuming thats the normal range cooker with a gas hob, the hob comes apart easily in sections of each pair of burners. and it is possible to reach down from above and get to the fan element mounts and wires. not easy but have done so in cases where its impossible to remove the range.

connect can get hold of brit spares but if its a special order, dont bother, go direct to britannia, otherwise connects markup makes it a riduculous price and adds about a week to the delivery time
