    Siemens FLA
    E Nr. – WM12E468GB/07
    FD.- 8706602285

The machine flashes (In the LCD display) ‘F 63’ when the selection knob is in any position other than off.

I have had a look in the ‘known error codes’ thread but either I missed this code, or it isn’t in there!

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have not yet looked at the machine, I really want a heads up before i take a drive out there.

I believe it is a control error with the main board?

Took me ages to figure out what you meant by “FLA” by the way, I gave up in the end and just searched the ENr no instead. Sussed it now though…. 😉

Re: Siemens FLA – F63 ERROR

Thanks for the reply Martin – I have since inspected the machine and found that the motor brushes were open circuit. It seems that the F63 error is ‘locked’ into the PCB because I have replaced the brushes and still get the error.

I think what i need now is to cancel the error code (or re-set the PCB). I have done this before on Bosch machines but the same method fails to work on this Siemens.

The buttons are the touch sensitive type.

Any help on doing a Siemens PCB reset anyone?

it seems the Brushes going O.C. corrupted the PCB, replaced PCB solved the fault.
