Have you checked to see if the door is sealing? With the fan running, press the door working your way around the edge to see if the sound of the fan ‘changes’ because you have sealed the door better and prevented air loss. The change is likely to take place on the left hand side given that the burning is on the right. If this is the case then it could be the door seal or a distorted door frame or hinge or a mixture of the three. Check also to see if the catch is actually holding the door tight. I don’t recall there being an adjustment on this model so you would require a new catch if this is the case. If there is severe air loss then you will often see indications of this as burning or brown marks on the enamel where it leaves the door.
Most of the time it is loss of air around the door but if the door and seal prove to be ok then your next option is the heating element. This model has three turns which can give rise to ‘hot spots’ often before it fails. At its worse it could be all of the above! :rolls:
