    I’ve been to look at a rangemaster electric cooker today. As soon as you put the main’s cooker switch on, the main fan oven element comes on, and the neon lights up. The fan will only come on if you turn the main oven switch on. It comes on even when the timer is flashing ie not set. HELP

    model?

    most likely the thermostat shorted? or, if the type where the stat pushes into the com swtich then it may have just popped off the back.
