    Model ADG7440

Fitted a new motor to this, the old Askoll pump was goosed.

Generally working fine but noticed that the upper spray arm nozzle does not appear to be sealing that well at the back of the tub. It appears as though a white rubber washer has perished in the lower of the two holes that the spray arm slots into at the back. Looking on SIOS the diagram is not that clear but it looks as though I would need to order part number 481253029118 which is the complete tube coming up from the base. Is this correct or can I just get the seals.?

The seals are part of the tube, that is the correct part number you have.

Typical Whirlpool, £40 + list price when all I need is a couple of small rubber washers. 😥

    Thanks John, I think . 😀

Its a tiny fraction less at Masterpart. 😉

Still silly when it is only a 50p washer at best that I need. 😈

First one I found on Google but there are plenty more about. If it’s a O ring there’s even less problem.

They are flat rubber washers, white ones though, made of the same material as used for the rubber, bungs/blanks in the top of the inner tub on these machines.

She is not to bothered as she says it is working OK but there is some water leaking out from the joint.

Customer’s always right 😉 and if it leads to further problems that’s her lookout.
