    Anyone Done a bearing change on these.?

    Customer says its making a loud noise on fast spin.. Going out at4pm today to take a closer look!

    Is it a simple drum out job, like a good old fashioned Hotpoint…. Or not

    Any info appreciated…

    More to the point,is it worth it!

    :hmm: All depends if you like a challenge?

    Drum out the front job, then cut off the locking tabs holding the 2 halves together. Standard set of double shielded ball races needed (forget sizes but you should have loads of different ones on the van anyway. :wink:)

    The vital components required, apart from bearings, are: –

    428662 Water Seal (Shaft)
    264574 Tub Gasket Kit

    Then you’re all set…….BRING IT ON!!!!

    If it’s like the one I did, you may find you have to detach the bottom end of the suspa legs from the cabinet rather than from the tub.

    Customer decided against having it done., and judging by the general state of the machine.. I was happy to walk away
