Heater ok so I suspect the control board. Am I right or is there more to check? Thanks Rob March 15, 2012 at 9:43 am #371127 iadomModerator Re: Indesit slimline dishwasher I assume you mean an IDL40?? 2+4 is supposed to be an O/C heater, light 4 is a heater timeout. Generally if the element is perfect then its the PCB, elements can break down or become clogged with limescale giving similar error messages. Some of these are Chinese made so full model number, commercial code and serial number needed to ID parts. Jim. Might be worth checking to see if the NTC is still in place, they do fall out from behind the clip sometimes. Jim.
