    Hi,
    IDL4 lights 2+4 flashing at end of the wash
    Just a heads up really as it’s ages since I did one of these.
    Heater ok so I suspect the control board. Am I right or is there more to check?

    I assume you mean an IDL40??

    2+4 is supposed to be an O/C heater, light 4 is a heater timeout.

    Generally if the element is perfect then its the PCB, elements can break down or become clogged with limescale giving similar error messages.

    Some of these are Chinese made so full model number, commercial code and serial number needed to ID parts.

    Certainly is Chinese Jim
    The other number on the rating plate is
    612088177
    The heater is not O/C and does heat the water and is clean.

    Hmm,

    I can send you the manual if you like, the PCB is C00142139.

    Might be worth checking to see if the NTC is still in place, they do fall out from behind the clip sometimes.
