ParticipantDoes anyone have the service manual for the freezer. Keeps increasing temp to -6 then slowly climbs back to -12 over 24hrs has 2 ntc’s on evap which both have variable resistance according to temp change. The heater element has .18Kohms through heater and 2 stats at -6. Fan on evap doesn’t seem to run all the time but does kick in when it feels like it. Any ideas welcomed.

Does any one know the part no. For the defrost element on this freezer. Connect came up with one which didn’t have the 2 stats attached but the original had 2 stats attached.
Thanks

Thanks, do I read that right? That the new heater does away with the two inline stats.

I don’t know but I do know that some of the heaters come with the stats wired in complete with the element.

The original has 2 black Lego brick size stats in line which makes me wonder.

This turned out to be the reed switch on the PCB not being activated due to the door dropping enough for the magnet in it not to activate.
Thanks for the info Colin, you where spot on.

I have this machine playing up as well it runs ok then cuts out when it wants then pulls all the way down to -18 and it’ll be fine for a day or so then temp will creep up evaporate ain’t iced up and heater etc is closed circuit, originally I could here some chattering from the pc pb when it cut out the first time so I changed the pcb and it seemed ok for about 4days then started playing up again!
Has anyone had any issues with these?
Cheers chris
