I have been to a Lamber Newscan DSP44 with a number of faults all of which I have repaired by this one. The bottom 2 spray arms won’t rotate during the wash. The pump is delivering water to the top arms ok. I have replaced the boss that the arms sit on with no change.
    Any Ideas?

Impellor on pump could be missing blades, take circulation pump off check impellor and also have a look up the connected pipes, very often broken crockery, spoons will be in there, must be some sort of blockage.
Filter in base/sump needs to be checked, make sure it is clean, new landlords don’t usually have a clue about the daily maintenance required on these machines.

    Thanks for that, Ill check.
I have noticed that when it fills from empty the top arm of the two spins with filling water pressure? Does that mean any thing or is that normal?

Always fills through rinse jets,it’s normal.
    Check jets are clear,they unscrew.
pm me if you need anymore help.

Jets was my first thought so cleaned them all but made no difference. Should they point up or in different direction?

They should be at 7 minutes or so from the perpendiular as the water jet is what propels the arm to turn.
