    Hi,

    I have a bosch oven with 4 gas hobs, one of them does not light up, or click to ignite. The others work fine. I have tried cleaning the hob etc.

    Any ideas?

    The ENR number would also help the guys to bve able to help you.

    Would guess at a broken igniton wire to that burner OR a broken/damages ignition unit. *** Please note*** you would have to strip the appliance to find this out, being a gas hob I would advise you to get a gas safe domestic appliance engineer to have a look for you.

    Dave , i believe this is your oven model number ! I’m guessing you have a Bosch oven built in underneath the hob and this is the number you’ve read . You will need to pull the oven out and look under the hob to find its ENR .

    Doh! I do indeed, I thought it was all one unit. Based on Jazz’s analysis, is this a big job?

    I will try and pull out the oven and find out.

    if it is just the lead you would only pay a repair fee a lot less than that, but trying to find a gas safe domestic appliance engineer is a little difficult. If you ignition unit needed replacing also then posibble to save the hassel that would be a good price…….?

    Tough call isnt it!

    Annoying as its not like I use the hob, but looking to rent the property out so should probably have it fixed
