Hi Guys
I have a AEG B4101-1-m single oven
PNC A944-181-743
It has started to switch off intermittently, but this doesn’t seem to be the same as the overheating scenario usually reported here.
Symptoms, Sometimes when in use for 1 or 2 hours it switches off, front led indicators stay on, timer stays on, but oven light and all fans switch off. usually it restarts moments later, if it doesn’t a simple tap on the front or open close door starts it again, sometimes it goes off again after 10 seconds, sometimes it runs for another 20 mins, no signs of overheating, door and front panel all stay cool to touch.
Have opened it, cleaned it checked all spade connections, made sure all circuit board connectors are fully home, can’t see any signs of overheating on cables or sensors.
Problem still remains
Haven’t pulled the master circuit board yet, that’s next, but thought you may be able to advise what else to check.
My gut says heat related physical problem, dry joint on circuit board or dodgy stat sensor, but nothing obvious and no previous posts with these symptoms, any suggestions appreciated, even if it’s just “time for new oven”
Thanks
