Looking for a bit of help and advice.

The dishwasher is around 6 years old and following some unusual noises on it’s last wash the machine did not empty the water.

There are no blockages of the filters or the waste pipe so I bought a new Waste pump (Pt No. 483054) with a view to fitting it. I have dismantled the machine to the stage that I can see the waste pump under the L/h sidepanel (if looking at from the machines door).

But, without removing a lot of stuff from the machine and perhaps ‘lifting’ the main body off the base is there a way to change the pump?

Assuming I have to remove a lot of bits from the machine are there any on line guides or handy advice before I have a go?

    thanks Jez

It fits easily from the front having first removed outer door panel and bottom panel.

    Martin,

Thanks for the advice I’ll have another go tonight.

I had removed the screws from the bottom panel but not the door skin.

    Martin,

Machine now up and running. 😀 😀 😀

Putting the outlet pipe onto the pump was a bit of a pain with the restricted access but managed it in the end.

Old pump appeared to have consumed itself (white rubber seal/gasket jamming the impeller wheel)

    Thanks for the advice

    Jez
