Samsung Electronics Co. said yesterday it had agreed with Hanssem Co., a kitchen furniture maker, to cooperate in the built-in kitchen appliance market.
Under the agreement, the two companies will pair a sales branch of the electronics maker with a branch of the kitchen furniture maker. The two branches in the pair will cooperate to simultaneously deliver and install furniture and appliances, such as built-in refrigerators.
“This is the first time that a consumer electronics maker and a kitchen furniture maker are conducting joint marketing,” an official at Samsung Electronics said.
