Hi
Theres a problem with your model number. Is it a RSH1 or a RS21 ?
Did you also check that the heater’s was working and NO damage. Also did you put the thermal fuse in the correct position ?.

sorry guys , its an rs21dcns , the heater is fine , i meggered everything no problems when i opened the evap cover the coils were clear of ice but there was a block below the coils on top of the gutter heater and it was clear ice and the sides of the evap and top were white ice , i can only suspect no power coming to the gutter heater ,the thermal fuse has connectors , i dont think it can be put the wrong way around ?

Check the gutter htr and make sure the gutter hole is clear by pouring hot water down it ,the hole is under the centre of the htr and goes of to the left
I use a long small hose so you can suck and blow the water into the hole .Nice ,it takes ages

By correct position I think he refers to its location. Ie behind the evap or between the evap and defrost heater. Thermal fuse would require sensor replacement also.
