Our dishwasher was coming up with the non listed E2 error code.
We took the plate off in the base and used a bottle brush down the outlet pipe. This seemed to release a lot of accumulated dirt and grease and the dishwasher has worked ever since. 😆Re: diplomat dishwasher E2 error code

E2 is or can be a notorious fault to detect, ranging from a simple blockage such as you discovered right up the failure of the main PCB control unit.

E5 means that it isn’t filling with water, the only checks you can do are:
Make sure the supply tap is turned on and there is water at the tap also check the supply hose isn’t kinked.
Apart from that, you’ll need an engineer as it could be a number of other internal components at fault.
