Participantchanged rear tub as motor brackets snapped of ..
built back up everything ok accept when it stops filling up the water is backing up via soap drawer .. its like theirs a blockage in soap dispensor – checked hose and its perfect ..
this dispenser hose has a u bend so i guess you will get water in their but this is weird , when filling its ok but nearing the end of fill you can see water back up into bottom of soap drawer and eventualy leaks out front ..
total headscratcher …any idea welcome
cheers ally

cheers guys . Appliance is level soap in correct pos pipes ok .. others is another vent hose but that’s ok aswell .. I turned water pressure down to. Trickle .. its really weird .. when it’s filling I pulled soap drawer forward enough to see under drawer .. water seems to go into drum then about 10 seconds before the fill ends water backs up and out front .. when I select drain you can see the backed up water disappear.. dohhhh

OK – a couple of long shots for you
1. Its not overfilling is it?
2. Is the tub inlet hose collapsing/kinking as tub drops due to the extra weight of waterJem

When you say it happens 10 seconds before fill stops, is that when the drum start turning?
Maybe it’s the revolving drum that’s forcing it back up through the draw…Martin

Check for blockages in any vent hoses (or even sump, especially if it has one of those ball things in it!). Used to be common in very early Hotpoint washer dryers and was caused by blocked condensing chamber. They had U bend type dispenser hoses too. I guessed it was some kind of pressure build up in the drum. It was never blocked dispenser hose?
