    Hi peeps
Any one had probs with these cutting out out after about 15 secs of cooking (micro and convection)? Everything just resets to initial power on display, i.e. the clock setting goes too.
Checked the thermistor seems ok (300k at room temp with temp variation reading ok), checked pcb earth (solder blobs aroung mounting screws), checked damper motor ok and weight sensor unit visibly checked.
Would appreciate any suggestions before replacing a very expensive pcb!
    Cheers

    Hi Bob
Thanks for your thoughts…the cooling fan appears to work ok
Looks like it’ll be a new board if it’s still available 🙁
    Cheers

Clive, send the PCB to QER, they will test andrepair if required and a whole lot cheaper than a new board.

SEME (the main Panasonic agent) want circa £170 ex VAT for it :eeek:

    Hi Dave

Thanks for that…i can get a genuine new board cheaper than that 😉 but still expensive.
I’ll give QER a call in the morning and see what they can offer
