    Hello,

    I have a NEFF Double Oven. The Timer has stopped working. Hello,

    I think the Model Number is U1442N0GB/03

    or FD8605

    Normally when I turn the timer on the procedure is to:

    (1) Turn the relevant oven on
    (2) Set the temp required
    (3) Set the Timer

    When the Timer kicks in in turns the oven off till the appropriate time.

    That suggests to me that the power for the Oven Elements pass through the timer in some way presumably via a Relay.

    At the moment turning the timer on has no effect.

    I am wondering is there a fuse or something protecting this (apparently) electronic timer?

    Also I bought a NEFF Timer a while ago for a previous Oven. It does not fit this one but I wonder if there is a specific part (Relay) at may be common.

    cheapest way is to find the relay contacts on the timer and short them out so oven will work without timer

    Dave,

    The Oven/Ovens are working fine stand alone.

    It is the timer that does not work.

    Given the Timer interrupts the power supply to the oven I am assuming there must be some sort of Relay that opens contacts when the Timer is set?

    I am thinking thse must be shorted/fused together

    if you can get at it, it will probbly be a common relay, you just have to source on and solder it in
