ParticipantHi all
Had a look at this machine today..no spin fault initially, so started to take brushes out for a look..they were fine…whilst under the machine,I stuck my magnetic LED lamp to the inside of machine..(very handy bit of kit). Whilst it was all nicely illuminated I spotted the element…
All it’s connectors burned and even broken off!Is this a common fault with these machines?
and is it likely to be either the NTC, pressure switch, or relay.. That was the cause of it..Hopefully it has not done to much damage to the outer plastic drum..as I have not attempted removal yet…thought I’d first ask on here if anyone has come across this before..

Looks like in your case the NTC harness (part no: 423704) may also need replacing as well as the NTC itself (170961) and the heater of course. 😉

Have now replaced all parts, apart from the NTC Harness, which is still lost in post!
Have put on to test, but cant get any motor action, will these machines fail to turn if the NTC is not connected…? Brushes are fine, machine worked ok before..Thanks
