Does sound like the stats are in the wrong way around or, there’s condensation in it causing it to trip.
Yes, the overheat will stop it dead.

Can’t recall but someone did the same a while back and got the same result.
I’d have to check it when in the office for you. Unless some kind soul happens to know in the interim.

Gotta be blocked or have something causing it to happen but I’ve never heard of any real issues with a condenser never mind the vented dryer, there’s nothing in it really.
The only issues you get are condensation, top problem especially at this time of the year and there’s booger all we can do about that.
Blockages in general.
Usual people breaking things that they shouldn’t, extremely common in commercial premises.
Broken belts/rollers: overloading generally.
But TBH, we just don’t get issues with the vented dryers, like I think this is maybe the second call on them in all the time they’ve been out there.

Srange I’ve been meaning to post on here for some time re an ISE10 condenser (outside warranty) where it cuts out after about 15 minutes when on high heat dry, cools for a bit then comes back to life. By chance the customer found it works perfectly if low heat selected on sensor or timed.

That’s a new one Tim.
Does it give any error or shutdown completely?

The machine goes completely dead, no lights nothing, as if the door had been opened.
I thought I had cured it by poking around with the door switch but the poking around coincided with the time it needed to calm down.

Yup, that’s an overheat shutdown, it will do that if it trips the overheat stat.

Whats the recommended action for that fault? Do you want me to throw a module, heater, ntc’s, stat’s & a pump at it? Only joking…I know, not funny at all.

99/100 it’s a blockage.
