The water pump was not working, so I changed it and it’s still not working. Can someone PLEASE tell me what is wrong. I tested the wires at the pump and the one has 240v which is in the positive. I need URGENT HELP!!!

    Thanks

What was wrong with the old pump?

If it had failed electrically, burnt out or had signs of water damage then there is a very strong chance that the faulty pump has blown the main circuit board. 😥

These Candy machines do suffer from hose leaks onto the drain pump.

No leaks, pump still working, but when I took the plugs off the back of the pump, there was burnt marks on both. I thought the pump went and just replaced it. What I don’t understand is, how come there is 240v at the one wire but it is still not working.

If the pump connector plug had signs of burning on it then its odds on that it has had a slight leak from the inlet hose onto the pump, you rarely see the leak on the floor, a bad design to have an uncovered pump directly under a potential leak area.

Not sure how clued up you are electrically but you need more than a live feed. 😉

If you can get the pcb out I will bet good money that you will find blown components in the middle of the board, done with with the mains plug removed. :zap:

NB. There is no need whatsoever to ‘live test and ‘ given your questions about the live feed you have to the pump I would respectfully suggest you get someone with the proper skills to assist you.

one of the most common faults i see

the plug needs cutting off, they burn for laughs, and yes u need a pcb, the pump triac will have blown its top
