ParticipantThis Machine goes to come on the door locks then goes to start but then door unlocks and it dos not come on. The red warning light only comes on when you push the start again. It blips three times with red light err (no code) . I have checked the water supply I have checked filter at the bottom right all clear out to the waste took the door lock out it is slightly burnt but I think that it is ok as the door dos lock then unlocks or could that be the problem ???. But I was think could it be the motor ??? so is there a way of testing the motor it looks hard to get out I don’t think that the motor his any brushes as I have changed those on other machines ( none profit friends and family )
Thank for any help any one could give me as this is my mothers machineJanuary 8, 2013 at 11:38 pm #387521captaincaveman1

With the main dial in the off position press and hold in the start/pause button and the next button to the left of it together keep them held in and now turn the main dial one click to the right, remove your hands and you will see all the display scrolling now turn the main dial clockwise a further nine increments and a fault code will appear in the display what is it? to exit this mode turn main dial to 0 then clockwise once and back to 0 . The motor by the way is an inverter type and so has no brushes its controlled by the electronic inverter board in the base of the machine

E23 relates to faulty triac on the main PCB which is used for the drain pump so my guess is either the drain pump has damaged the board possibly due to being leaked on so you need to inspect the pump or it could be due to the machine being in a damp environment and condensation has tracked across the board .

You’re up a creek without a paddle on that one Paddy. The only realistic solution is to take a close look at the damage and figure out what that fused circuit served? Was it the pump that fused it or the motor or the door lock? PCB’s don’t blow on their own accord, something caused it. And both the component AND the PCB need replacing to cure…..Bad news my friend! 🙁
