ParticipantWe went to visit a property and found that after the machine has been on a cycle it keeps steaming and heating and does not continue onto the next part of the cycle. Does anybody know what could be causing this as I have found this same fault on two of these in a week.
Thanks.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for that, I did think it was the PCB but wasn’t sure, as the first time I heard about this problem was when the customer phoned me due to no heat any more, so I was very unsure about this one as the heater reads fine and there is power going to the heater, do you reckon it still is the same problem, I think it is but I am just double checking.

all the 5 i have done were the pcb and the heater relay was bulged or melted, symptoms of no heat or heatng all the time depending on the heter relay welded together or open circuit.

you can check the heater from the pcb connections without taking the appliance out.the heater relay is in one corner and the 2 heavy heater wires areeasy to spot.

Thanks that is a good tip, it is the 2 purple wires, but I normally check it from the bottom without pulling the appliance out if the kick board comes of easy.
