    Hi

An Elecrolux ES16104x S.N. 911841114 has recently had now sump seals fitted, the machine was put upside down to replace parts and is now locking out on the inlet valves. All presure hoses have been cleaned out and re fitted. Clicking round the selector switch will start the wash cycle for approx 1 min and then the appliance will lock out again. Does anyone have any suggestions? Many thanks. 🙂

What does “locking out” mean? The valve won’t shut off, or won’t open or what?

I have had this problem on a similar model. After checking all the pressure tubes are clear of water I turned off the water, then loosened the hose union to release the water pressure from the inlet hose, water back on, then all was OK

We’ve reset the valve. It fills once again, locks out again. We’ve check all hoses again and reset valve again…..same problem.

‘Locked out’ – as in, valve won’t open. Pressure switch on top of valve stops water coming in

I suppose all you can do is try a new water valve
