    Hi,

I’m looking for an ignition button and switch for a Hygena APL3127 hob, the ignition switch is located on the hob next to the 4 gas ring controls.

If you could let me know of any part numbers or suppliers that would be great.

    Thanks
    Mike

Just the actual plastic button you need Mike ?

Not a problem, I’ll check it out in the morning when I’m back at the office.

I need the plastic button and also the switch the button sits on, the one I have has seized so when you press the button the switch does’nt move so no gas ignition. The switch is fixed onto the hob by a small bolt.

    Hope this helps !

I’ve just checked for you Mike and the model number you have given is for the oven not the hob.

Please post the hob details (on the underside or from the user manual) and I’ll let you know.

    Dave.

    Re: Hygena Ignition Switch

    Hi,

The problem I’ve got is the original owner of our house left no manuals for the appliances, would you know the best way to get to the model number on the hob ?

    Thanks
    Mike

Yeah Mike, you’ll have to pull out the oven and it’s on the rating plate on the underside of the hob. There’s no other way really and user manuals are not to be trusted for model numbers as they more often than not cover a range, not a specific appliance.

    K.
