    Customer complaining of burning,acrid type of smell coming off this w/m.Had a look today and checked heater,ntc(24k dropping down to 15k by adding hot water)checked motor,mains filter.ran a quick wash with no smell.heater relay seems to click in and out ok.Got cust to set to her normal wash.Rang later to report no smell.She is adamant it was coming off w/m.Machine is 13 months old.Hoover being stubborn about doing anything to help without charging €120 call out.

    This one is back. Husband describes smell as like burnt out clutch type of

    smell. Going back Monday. Any ideas.

    That is good if that was the part…

    If you get recalled to it, check the board (module) for tracking between components or connection legs.
