    Please can someone help? I have received the spare part for my washing machine but it doesnt seem to fit. I ordered carbon brushes for the right model but the casing (armature) doesn’t fit flush as there are two bits of plastic (mounts?)sticking out underneath?

    You’ll have to give us a bit more info to help.

    We’d need to know what machine it is, make and model, the carbons that you have and if possible the make of motor in the machine.

    Hoover Nextra 8
    optima wash system
    HNWF 7148

    Carbons are red armature, L95MF7 printed on the carbon itself

    motor ” C.E.SET MCA 52/64-148CY44 41015501″

    Looking at the old carbons they are completely differnt in appearance to “new” ones! Which are black, different shape and carbons are “L94MF7”

    What is the part number on the carbons that you got? Not the numbers on the carbons themselves, then I can check it.

    I think I’ve sussed it.

    I think what’s happened is that you’ve ordered these ones:

    They fit models with a SOLE motor.

    What you really wanted was ones to fit the Ceset motor, which is these ones:

    .uk/sv1202-ceset-washing-machine-washer-dryer-carbon-brushes

    Considerably cheaper as well.

    I have emailed but not had any reply yet, so I am just checking should I just go ahead and order the ceset carbon brushes if they are the correct ones?

    I ordered from whitegoods on 11/07/13 item no 175126,
    09200626 sole carbon brushes thinking they were for Hoover Nextra 8 HNWF 7148
