ParticipantHi
Help would be appreciated, my oven has recently started acting weird!! the bottom fan oven will heat to 140oC only and the top oven / grill is overheating and cuts out altogether, can anyone help please? the bottom oven fan is working, but I have been told that the fan should continue running when you switch the oven off to cool but my one does not, the appliance is about 3 years + old. Also, do you think it would be cost effective to have it repaired?
Thanks again.

Quick update, I removed the fan cover on the lower oven and the thermostat appears to work fine in that the oven heats up and cools down as normal, any ideas? any ideas all welcome, thanks. 💡

COOLING fan (seperate) behind oven should run after switch off. Controlled by pcb.

Changed the fan but still no joy, looks like I will have to buy a pcb for it!!!August 16, 2013 at 6:07 pm #399339Simon46

Does it have a resistor in line? If so you need to test with meter as shorted fan may have blown it.

S.Hi, not sure about the resistor but the fan turns very slowly which would suggest power reaching, I have ordered the pcb board hope this works, need my oven back 🙁
