i have an indesit wie157s, every time the program is started, an error “-con” flashes. it still runs through the cycle but this code worries me. any help with this would be great, maybe on resetting the machine or what the code means?

How old is your washer? as these are fairly new out,
It possibly could be an electronic fault but definatly needs an engineer to check it out.

I’m sure someone else had this error some months back but I can’t remember what it was as the fault code described isn’t on any of the tech info as far as I know.
I think it relates to the conditioning rinse, hence the “con”.
Do you use conditioner Steve ? If not, try some and see if it’s still there at the end of the cycle 😉

It’s nothing to do with Conditioner as I’ve just had some helpful info passed to me.
Go with Clyde’s suggestion as it’s an electronic error and requires an engineer to rectify.
