    Good afternoon,
    I have the above washer / dryer and I trend to use the dryer option today and the machine does not get warm, it counts down and the drum turns but no heat, the machine is nearly 5 years old and I have only used the dryer function a handful of times that last maybe a year ago.

    Any help is gratefully received

    Dryer heater element decays through lack of use. Though the fault may also be the thermal trip located on the main dryer duct.

    Would this be something that is fixable at home or is an engineer needed?

    Well an engineer could certainly fix it for you of course. However if you have sufficient electrical knowledge, the right tools and test equipment it would also be possible to sort it yourself. Your choice. 😉
