ParticipantWhite Knight condenser tumble dryer
model CL767
ser. no 0201734780the tumble dryer works but no heat..
ive taken the back panel off to get to the thermostats and heater.
the heater element looks fine.
there are two thermostats in the back above the heater element.
normal one, tested with multimeter on resistance and gives full continuity
the other one, is a reset one this gives full continuity, when you pull the pin out it cuts off the circuit, but when you let it go, it reconnects the circuit again..are there any other thermostats anywhere. ?
that could be stopping it from heating.cheers

Like lots of things in life, looks aren’t everything. Have you tested the heater for resistance/conminuity?

There appears to be at least six varients of the 767.
Have a look HERE
Might give you a better idea.

right i checked the back of the dryer and found the code.
0312 767 15003/1
so that puts it in this manual.
0312_767_15002_15003_&_variantsim going to test run it without the back cover on to see if the element heats up on both low and high settings.
as both thermostats test ok ?
so cant see what else it would be.October 3, 2013 at 8:09 am #402071iadom

Do not run it with the back off.

i can understand that for saftey reasons.
though im not likely to touch the spining blower or the hot element.
well it doesnt matter if you have it on high heat or low heat.
only one of the eight element springs heat up..at a bit of a loss on this..
could it be the hi and low switch
is it the element
or something on a PCB if it has one -
