    dryer motor comes on ok , but no 240 to element , and valve

    looks like no neut feed to element , traced 240 on the live side right up to element.

    any pointers as to where to start with this ..

    The control unit switches on the neutral side Ally so you will always get a live to each component. Have you got continuity through the valve coil and the heater?

    HI MARTIN

    yes cont through both components, the fan comes on i ran it for 10 minutes checked for voltage to components but nothing to neut side ..

    Hmmm? Looks like we need to investigate more closely. What’s the CORRECT Enr number of this beast?

    That’s better, no wonder I couldn’t find it! 😀

    Replace the NTC (part no. 00175369) on the top dryer duct should solve the problem I reckon. 😉
