Dishwasher not working, all LEDs dead. There is water in the bottom of the compartment, if I empty it out with a cup it refills and then the float valve shuts it off, so there is electrics to some parts.
I have studied similar topics on this forum and have checked the door switch – all OK. Then examined the PCB, no signs of damage or any burn marks. I removed the Main Switch on the control panel and checked the terminals for continuity :- there are six pins, I found that there was only continuity between pins 1 and 2, also 3 and 4, but nothing between 5 and 6 – could this be the problem ?
I would much appreciate any advice on this or whatever else the cause could be.

Nope, main switches rarely fail. PCB going dead commonplace.

Martin I’ve been looking at the Water Outlet system, and found that the Water-Inlet System, where the pipes all enter on the left-hand side, is all clogged up at the top end. Could this have any bearing on the troubles mentioned above.
