    Hi all, had a go at this one , temp not low enough, temp and air sensors check out ok , no usual prob with broken dial on control board , anything im missing here thanks SKes 3600 index 20/147 ser. no. 0977582-00

    This is a tall larder fridge. What temp is it giving you?

    its at 6 degrees , water running down the back panel , I turned it up last time I was there but it didn’t make any difference, I turned on the circ fan and its freezing the droplets at the back panel the stat is turned 2/3rd of the way round , so it should be very cold

    Anyone , in just gonna change the sensor they are notexpensive

    im not sure about sensor mate. id be looking at the system probably. sensor faults are much more common than system faults, granted, but im not sure here.
    have you taken the reading of the sensor?
    what’s the ambient temp like?
    this is a fairly simple fridge, so I’d be having a good look at all the symptoms and then trying to separate the fault from system or control.
    another point, I’d always have the fan running on this type of fridge, for a more evenly distributed temperature.
    if the fan isn’t running then due to the fact that its a big cabinet, it will be colder at the bottom and the back of the cabinet and warmer at the top and the front.
    how are you taking the temp?
