ParticipantHi – I have a Miele dryer and it’s getting stuck on the last cycle (anti-crease function). Basically, (intermittently) the light stays on at that cycle function – and even turning it off / closing/opening doors etc etc – doesn’t reset it. As a result, I can’t restart it to begin a new drying cycle.
Having read some other posts on other sites, I’ve seen that it mentioned that the rollers are either warn / need oiling – or both. Just want to check if this makes sense – because I don’t fancy opening up the machine (and buy the parts – £68) unless pretty sure…
Any help much appreciated –
thanks, Rob

Just interested how you eventually clear it to get it to start again?
(I can’t believe it would be to do with anything mechanical or anything that needs oiling)

Sometimes it sorts itself out. For example, last night I tried every which way (open door, closing door, on, off, turning knob, waited 30mins with it off etc etc). I gave up. However, I came down this morning and it worked again. Just seems very temperamental.. Was wondering if the drum moves, and it just finally decides to end the programme. The place i saw this advice was: http://www.fixya.com/support/t10880630- … ase_finish
