Hi – I have a Miele dryer and it’s getting stuck on the last cycle (anti-crease function). Basically, (intermittently) the light stays on at that cycle function – and even turning it off / closing/opening doors etc etc – doesn’t reset it. As a result, I can’t restart it to begin a new drying cycle.

Having read some other posts on other sites, I’ve seen that it mentioned that the rollers are either warn / need oiling – or both. Just want to check if this makes sense – because I don’t fancy opening up the machine (and buy the parts – £68) unless pretty sure…

    Any help much appreciated –

    thanks, Rob

Just interested how you eventually clear it to get it to start again?

(I can’t believe it would be to do with anything mechanical or anything that needs oiling)

Re: Miele T4362 – Honeycomb Dryer

Sometimes it sorts itself out. For example, last night I tried every which way (open door, closing door, on, off, turning knob, waited 30mins with it off etc etc). I gave up. However, I came down this morning and it worked again. Just seems very temperamental.. Was wondering if the drum moves, and it just finally decides to end the programme. The place i saw this advice was: http://www.fixya.com/support/t10880630- … ase_finish

    thanks, Rob

Maybe its locked. Try this to deactivate lock.

If the system lock has been activated it
is not possible to start a programme.
    The following steps (A,B,C) must
be carried out in the correct order.

    Please proceed step by step:

    To activate the system lock

A)Ensure that the door is closed and
    that the programme selector is
    turned to Finish.

    B) Switch on the dryer.

    C) Press the Anti-crease button and
keep it pressed in while carrying out
    steps D to F.

    D)Slowly turn the programme selector
clockwise stage by stage until it
    reaches the COTTONS/Normal
    position.

    E) Slowly turn the programme selector
anti-clockwise stage by stage until it
    reaches the Finish position.

    F) Slowly turn the programme selector
anti-clockwise stage by stage until it
    reaches the MINIMUM IRON/Hand
    iron position.
The Locked indicator lamp will flash.

    G)Release the Anti-crease button.
The system lock is now activated.

    H)Switch off the dryer.

    To de-activate the system lock
    Repeat steps A-G.

The Locked indicator lamp will go out
    after step F.

HI Rob I have the same problem with my dryer. Did you get to the bottom of what was causing your problem and how to fix it? Paul
