    Evening gents

    I have come across this integrated washer/dryer today with an E13 error message. The error appears about 5 seconds after selecting a programme. The interlock solenoids clicks before and after the error code appears.

    Conflicting advice suggests it may be a ‘time out’ drainage error or door interlock fault. I have pretty much ruled out the drainage error but can’t fill and test the machine as I can’t get past the error state.

    Am I in the right ball park with the interlock before I order it and, if the lock does the trick, will it clear the error state or is there a ‘reset’ procedure.

    Although you’re correct that the error code is door lock related , 7 time’s out of 10 it’s a control board fault.

    Thanks nomadPaul. That’s always the worry! I’ll explain the same to my customer and let them decide.

    Hold on… Disconnect the dryer elements wiring first before you are all doom & gloom!
