    This d/w will run forever with no heat.Heater fine.Thermostat(cry682050280016) screwed to underside is o/c.Should these be in closed or open circuit.Paul

    I have no clue but logic would suggest it would be a TOC in which case it should be closed. If it is wired in series with the element then that is a dead giveaway. 😉
