Entered a 30 minute wash cycle.Wash cycle completed satisfactorily, the proceeded to a drying programme of 15 minutes.Witnessed the start of programme, remember commencement by drum cycling. Left premises for short while during which time the RCD at main fuse board had tripped.
    Reset it,it tripped again.
As a process of elimination, entered a spin only but after a short while RCD tripped again!!!
Have replaced Dryer element also Thermostat also overheat protection thermostat.
Can now conduct a normal wash programme satisfactoriy.
Setting a dryer cycle the drain clears and drum cycles BUT no heat!!!
Have 235 volt power at thermostats and element!!

Have held pause and the next button selected first programme clockwise The LEDS flash released buttons LEDS scroll, rotated programme through each position clockwise to the off position.
Turned to a programme and then to off.
Reset a 15min drying programme, programmed commpleted BUT still no heat!!

    Any help please.

Does the dryer fan operate? Have you checked the terminal connections to the NatC on the bottom condenser hose?

    Thanks Martin.

    Yes the fan does operate
Not quite sure what you mean by NatC (what is NatC) on condenser hose Where is that in relation to facing front of machine
Please bear with me(80years with few marbles) the macine is closed up and used for wash only.
I am dependant upon my son visiting once a week to progress this
    Please bear with me
I’m vewry greatful for your reply

Sorry for NatC, instead read NTC (iPad typo error) 🙁

The NTC (thermistor) is located in the bottom black rubber hose that connects to the condenser matrix on the right hand side.

Martin sorry for delay in replying

My son has checked thermistor connections and all seems ok.
Have disconnected large plastic chamber full of fluff etc and cleaned
White pressue switch and black pressure switches seem to work with air (mouth) applied.
to recap power at all connections on heater fan works but!!!!!!
    Any further advice please?

    Thanks

Dunno to be honest from this remote location. There are no less than 2 t/stats and one NTC on the dryer heater box. One t/stat is a safety overheat/manual reset job the other a regular auto reset t/stat. And the one on the front is an NTC that monitors the hot airflow. The NTC below the condenser matrix measures the warm air flow.

I’ve no idea what caused the RCD to trip in the end, was it a faulty dryer element or what exactly?
