How do I replace the thermostat on an LG fridge freezer GR 349SQF,
I am thinking that a faulty thermostat is the reason that I get a slab of ice building up on the bottom of the freezer under the lower draw, otherwise the fridge and freezer seem to work fine.HC

Hi
More likely that the defrost drain is blocked. Defrost the freezer fully for 48Hrs and then at the rear of the appliance in the centre just above the water collection container on top of the compressor you will see a black piece of rubber pull it off and leave off. This rubber gets sticky and stops the water from draining away.
