    Hi,

any help greatly appreciated. Thus far have tried:

inlet valves reading ~1.2Mohms therefore not OC

pressure switch contacts all OC until I blow into it the close

    pressure switch pipe not blocked

    filter not blocked

if left long enough then the Stain Removal, Easy Iron and Door lock lights flash continuously and the pump chugs continuously. That’s function control light 2 & 3 and door lock ;o) Only way to stop this is turn off electric at wall.

    many thanks for any help,

    Daz

Have you by any chance checked the state of the motor brushes?

    Nope Martin ;o)

Happy to do so. Can you explain the logic? Why if not filling with water might it be an issue with the brushes?

    ta,

It’s an Indesit, so logical thinking goes out the window. 😉

OK, checked the brushes and there’s at least 1″ remaining on each of them.

    Any other ideas?

    much appreciated

Lights 2&3 is F06, fault is supposed to be door lock related, door lock, wiring, pcb connections or even a pcb fault.

thanks for the quick response iadom ;o)

I’ll check the connections (that I can). I do know that the lock works or at least, the light goes out and the door will not open. Then, after powering off the door lock clicks and door can be opened.

sorry, wasn’t a criticism. Simply wanted to give all of the facts – like I should have done at the outset – doh!

No problem, I didn’t take it as a criticism, I was just pointing out that Indesit electronics are about the flakiest on the market and throw up all sorts of spurious codes. It is well worth giving the whole of the machine a once over with a megger to check for insulation leaks, especially the heater and motor.
