ParticipantI could do with some advice on what to charge for there work and parts mark up. Obviously I have my standard rates but don’t want to go in too cheap if I could get a bit more.
Any advice welcome.
Thanks

standard markup roughly about 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} i would think – dag may want lower rates.

standard mark up is 15{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} , I have had a couple of claims rejected because they said my mark up was too high !!!

they use connect for most of their work ,
if your rural there’s more of a chance of them calling you.
not the easiest to work with – re claims rejections for this that and the next thing

Golden rule how low can you go, don’t go there, always stay above or walk away, 3 good calls non D&G are far better than 6 D&G, when you add up all the leg work, they’ll be happy with 5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} or even better free. If your 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}, your nearest is on 15{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}, guess who gets the work.

Huh? Are you asking for a list of all the indies around the UK that do DAG contract work or what exactly do you mean?

We did the work for a year or so, couldnt control the volume. 30 jobs one day non the next. Constant hassle from escalations department, treated like sh7t from overlimit department. Completely manual process, posting invoicess off. Send fifty by post and get twenty back for no reason, then resubmit without change to be paid next time.
Overall it gave us volume at an early stage, but took over my life and theres no loyalty. In today out tomorrow. We dropped it after the last survey. Agree with lee 3 own good calls better than 6 d&g.
If you could control the brands, volume and processes it would be fantastic. But the phone traffic was so heavy we used a third party call centre to take the calls who are just given your number, was another big cost detracting from the viability. Do I sound bitter? -
