Hi, I have an ADG7560. Following a power cut yesterday the machine shows no sign of life at all. I have checked the following:
1 The socket it plugs into – there is power there
2 The fuse in the plug – taken out fuse, and meter shows it is fine
    – then, just in case, also changed the fuse.

Does anyone have an idea on what/where to test next or know what the problem is likely to be.

    Thanks very much

    Re: ADG 7560 – No power ???

Worse case scenario : The power cut may have caused a power surge that blew the main board?

If you are competent with electrics and have the tools and test meter then only by opening her up can you proceed further. It is almost impossible to predict what it may be otherwise. Other possibilities are : Rodent damaged, chewed the wires inside? (Mice love dishwashers) or a broken wire in the harness going up the front of the door?

If you need help then go to our ‘find an engineer’ section on the home page. Lots of experts down in wildest Devon that can sort it for you. 😀

    OK thanks

I am fairly handy with the meter so will have a go at a bit more discovery and see where that takes me.
Thanks for advice from confused of Wildest Devon

There is power up to the main board so am I right in assuming that it is the main board that is stuffed – no leds etc?

Look for surface component damage on the PCB.
