ParticipantHi all
Seen a couple of posts on this topic, but want some advice
Had the machine 6 years and used daily.
Last night put on normal cycle and found later that it was stuck emptying the water, with red light on.
This morning checked the drain area and it was empty.
Filled with water and reset machine and tried a short wash.
Drained the excess water, but just kept doing that and red light for “check water” came on.Ideas or solutions?

Water in the base tray caused by internal leak somewhere I expect.

Overflow from fill matrix/pressure chamber?
Leaking main pump shaft seal?
Loose salt container collar?
Leaking water heater diverter mechanism?
For possible starters…… 😉July 27, 2014 at 2:35 pm #417153pw453

Found that their is a pipe on the right side of the machine as you look at it, that connects to the middle of the machine.
This pipe goes to the back and under the machine and connects to fresh air….
All around this pipe area has water muck…
Cant get to anything where this pipe goes as to much electrics and motors…July 27, 2014 at 2:49 pm #417154pw453

It’s just the steam expansion pipe. It is not attached to anything and easily pulls out from its location should you choose to do so.

Thanks
It seems I have a lot of water muck to the right side of the machine.
I am also at a loss of how to get to the pipes and seals you talk of, i expect i will need someone who knows what they are doing.
Thanks for your help, but think i will end up washing up by hand and same money to buy a new machine…July 27, 2014 at 4:32 pm #417157Martin

That’s a same. It’s a quality machine and a local independent repairer could sort it I’m sure 💡
