Just fitted a power board to a AKZ196/1X oven. Comes with full instructions for configuring but you need a code which should be on the rating plate, however i can’t see it !According to the instructions it should be between model no. and service code but nothing on this label ?Any whirlpool specialists out there who might help ? Service code is 858519615021

Thanks john, i’ll go back today and try that. Out of interest should that be on the rating plate normally,as suggested on the info sheet or am i reading it wrong?

In my time with Whirlpool the configuration code was immediately after model number on the rating plate so in your case it would be AKZ196/1X **.
It is usually done in a slightly larger font and the code would be a number between 1 and 39.On the later models the code is in the service manual.
